Inventive
Quotient, LLC
Inventive Quotient, LLC was formed in 2003
by Dr. William Maxwell and Larry N. Sanford. The company was
formed to develop and market a CD ROM version of Dr. Maxwell's
patented Inventive Quotient, I.Q., a set of games designed to help increase children's thinking abilities.
While Inventive Quotient, LLC is technically
a "for profit" enterprise, all of the profits, after
salaries and expenses, will go to support two non-profit educational
institutions: The International Conference on Thinking, which was founded
at the University of the South Pacific to bring outstanding
researchers from all disciplines together to consult on how
to improve the thinking skills of humans in all walks of life;
and The Global Academy for International Athletics, which
will train athletically talented children from all around
the world to participate in the Olympics and other international
sports competition. The Academy promises each student that
he or she will also be prepared for a non-sports career after
his or her sports career ends. Children are tested for admission
into the Academy from age 8 and become residents at the academy
on their 12th birthday. The students remain at the Academy
for six years.
